A captivating fragrance of Bird Cherry
The bitter-honey, intoxicating scent of bird cherry always reminds me that spring is almost here. Green leaves and white flowers in the sunlight attract bees and butterflies.
How nice it is to rest in the shade of this extraordinary tree that enlivens our senses. It is not without reason that it is called the "dream tree.”.
So now I dream that it will be the time when the bird cherry blossoms to finally admire these beautiful flowers in person and admire their scent.
The hawthorn, also known as the Mayday Tree, is full of symbolism, rooted in Celtic folklore and tradition; it is a tree that traditionally blooms on May Day, or Beltane in Gaelic.
This painting is just a timid attempt to convey her natural beauty.
